CRUISING TO TOBA INLET
BREM BAY
Brem Bay is located where Toba Inlet makes an abrupt turn to the east and a wide U shaped valley enters from the North.

Brem River Valley
There is a reasonably safe anchorage (weather permitting) close to the edge of the estuary delta in the north eastern corner of the Bay which offers shelter from most winds. In the north western side of the Bay there is a private logging camp float. Occasionally boaters can tie up to anchored mooring logs near the float for the night. (Not the log booms!!) Please do not tie up to the logging camp float unless you have permission.

Seals on Log Tie Up
Note that grizzlies make their home in Brem Bay from time to time, so be very cautious when onshore. You can also take your dinghy up the Brem River for a short distance at high tide.
